Coverage of the first day of the Third and Final Test in the series from Edgbaston in Birmingham. The visitors will be hoping to be in with a chance of winning their first Test series against England in this country since 1996. That series saw them win two out of three games to come away with a 2-0 victory. England will be hoping to end their summer on a high as Joe Root finishes his first series as captain since his return to the job in August

Coverage of the league phase match from Anfield. The two sides meet at Anfield for the second consecutive season in the Champions League, with Liverpool looking to repeat last year's dramatic 3-2 victory. The Reds raced into a two-goal lead inside six minutes through Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah before Atletico fought back with a Marcos Llorente double, only for Virgil van Dijk to score a 92nd-minute winner. With both sides starting their 2026/27 European campaigns, another thrilling encounter could be in store.

Coverage of the third day of the Third and Final Test in the series from Edgbaston in Birmingham. Joe Root will be hoping that his team can end the Test summer on a high after he took over the role as England captain for the second time at the start of this series. After this match ends the hosts will then finish the English summer with three T20's and three ODI's against Sri Lanka.

Coverage of the Premier League match from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The hosts did the double over the Toffees thanks to 3-0 and 1-0 victories in the league. Their first win away saw Tottenham claim a comfortable 3-0 victory thanks to a Micky van de Ven double and a late Pape Matar Sarr goal. A nervy 1-0 win at this ground in the reverse fixture on the final day of the season kept the North London side in the top flight at the expense of West Ham.

Coverage of the top-flight match from Stadium of Light. These two sides last met back in February when the Gunners claimed a comfortable 3-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium. Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring in the 42nd minute before a second-half brace from Viktor Gyokeres sealed the three points for Mikel Arteta's side. Sunderland fared better in the meeting at this venue last season though, as Brian Brobbey scored a 94th-minute equaliser to earn the Black Cats a 2-2 draw.

The teams face each other on neutral territory as they conclude a series that saw the All Blacks embark on a Lions-style tour of South Africa in which they faced club sides as well as the Springboks, beginning with a game against The Stormers on 7 August.

The hosts will end the Test summer under a completely different regime after captain Ben Stokes retired in June and coach Brendon McCullum was sacked in July. Stokes was replaced by former captain Joe Root and Stephen Fleming was appointed coach in place of McCullum.

That meeting came in the fifth round of the FA Cup as Brighton progressed thanks to a 3-1 victory at home. The last time they faced each other in a league game was on New Year's Eve 2011 when the hosts picked up a 2-0 win in the Championship.

Coverage of the Premier League match from Elland Road. This meeting last season ended in a rather dull 0-0 draw as neither team could get a grip of the game and create any real clear-cut chances. The reverse fixture however was much more exciting as Newcastle scored twice in stoppage time to earn a thrilling 4-3 victory at St. James' Park.
